Fluid IT began in 2005 as a one-man company dedicated to providing IT support to charities that was affordable, transparent and accountable. In the very first week, Fluid had hired an apprentice: an ex-offender with no IT experience, brought in to provide support and be supported. Since the beginning, we have been motivated to release the potential of our clients and our team.
In 2011, we hired our CTO, who helped completely revamp our business model, challenging us to develop in new and improved ways. In the decade to follow we formalised our Advisory Board, settled into our current offices, became a founding UK B Corp, suffered a devastating flood, and in 2019 achieved our first solid financially positive year. Then the pandemic happened.
Thankfully, we have been able to continue to grow and flourish throughout uncertain times. 2022 was our most recent B Corp recertification, improving upon our previous score by an impressive 32 points. We’ve grown our team and expanded and improved upon the services we offer. And at the end of 2022, we celebrated the succession of our new CEO.

We deliver dedicated IT support to our clients: support that’s transparent, accountable and enables them to do the work that they do best. Our Fully Managed Support Contract offers fixed price support as needed. This includes a dedicated helpdesk, as well as services that proactively monitor the health and security of your IT estate. In addition, we offer infrastructure management, project management, Business Intelligence reporting, procurement services, as well as security and data governance.
Our services are robust enough to meet the security and data protection requirements of the impact sector, whilst remaining affordable. We itemise all services, break down all our project costs, and are always ready to provide an explanation.
We partner with organisations that share our values. Our team currently supports over 70 organisations under Fully Managed Support contracts, including over 40 charities, as well as B Corporations, social enterprises, health care organisations, education establishments, and purpose driven businesses.
