Take 10 with Fluid IT:
Celebrating 10 Years of the UK B Corp Movement

The UK B Corp movement is officially 10 years old — and we’re proud to have been there from the very beginning. 🎉

As one of the founding UK B Corps, Fluid IT joined a pioneering group of businesses committed to proving that purpose and profit can go hand in hand. A decade later, the movement has grown from a handful of changemakers to a thriving community of over 2,600 certified B Corps, all united by a shared belief that business can — and should — be a force for good.

For us, being a B Corp isn’t just a certification; it’s part of who we are. From our cybersecurity and IT services to how we run our business day to day, we focus on creating technology that empowers people, protects organisations, and contributes positively to society.

Reflecting on 10 Years of Impact

The new B Lab UK 10-Year Impact Report highlights the incredible progress of the UK B Corp community — and where we can go next.

Here are just a few reasons to celebrate:

💚 People first: UK B Corps are 26% more likely to pay all employees a family living wage compared to other UK companies.
💦 Planet in action: Together, UK B Corps have saved over 20 billion litres of water since 2022 — more than a week of the UK’s total non-household water use.
👩‍💼 Representation matters: 54% of SME B Corps have management teams that are at least half women — compared to just 25% of all UK SMEs.
Driving sustainability: B Corps are nearly twice as likely to run on 100% renewable energy, helping accelerate the UK’s path to net zero.

These achievements are proof that responsible business isn’t just possible — it’s powerful.

Looking Ahead: Business as a Force for Good

At a time of global uncertainty, the B Corp movement offers a steadying reminder: when businesses are guided by values and grounded in purpose, they can lead from the front.

We’re taking 10 to reflect on how far we’ve come, celebrate the progress we’ve made together, and look ahead with optimism. Because the next 10 years matter even more.

Let’s keep building the future we all want to see — together.
